The Wales Nuclear Forum Steering Group has been strengthened by the appointment of new member, Jason Thomas.
Jason is the Commercial Manager of Teddington Engineered Solutions, a design and manufacturing company based in Llanelli. The company specialises in the design and manufacture of expansion joints that compensate movement within pipework. Teddington Engineered Solutions has a long and established history of supplying nuclear projects and the company even supplied to Sellafield in the 1950’s – the UK’s first ever nuclear power station.
Jason has over 20 year’s experience within the nuclear industry and other energy sectors. His engineering and commercial experience includes bidding, negotiating and securing major contracts in both the UK and internationally. Within the civil and defence nuclear industries, he has worked with many major tier one companies and EPC’s.
Teddington Engineered Solutions offers a range of specialist services including NDT services, fabrication and design services.
Discussing the role of the Steering Group, Jason said: “Our aim is to first of all present WNF members with opportunities to bid for and acquire new business. Ultimately WNF should be measured on its members success stories within the energy sectors.”
